Residential · Finish Carpentry

The details that make a house feel built, not bought.

Built-in shelving, window seats, wainscoting, trim and custom millwork across Tampa Bay — the finish carpentry that turns rooms into architecture.

Finish carpentry is where our whole standard comes from. It's the discipline of the last sixteenth of an inch — reveals that match, miters that close, built-ins that look grown from the wall. It's the standard we carry into every kitchen, bath and commercial space we build, and it's available as a project of its own.

Why built-ins beat furniture

Furniture sits in a room; built-ins become the room. They use the awkward alcove, run to the ceiling, hide the cables, and add the kind of character buyers and appraisers notice. Done well, they're the highest-impact-per-dollar work in residential construction — and 'done well' is the entire game.

Every piece is measured, scribed and fitted to your actual walls — which are never straight — then caulked, filled and finished so the paint looks poured on. That's the difference between trim work and finish carpentry.

Common Questions

( 03 )

What does custom built-in shelving cost?

It scales with size, materials and complexity — a single alcove unit and a floor-to-ceiling library wall are different projects. We measure your space in a free consultation and quote it in writing.

Painted or stained finish?

Painted built-ins (typically poplar or MDF-and-hardwood hybrids) suit most modern and coastal homes; stained hardwood suits traditional rooms and statement pieces. We'll show you options against your home's palette.

Do you do small trim projects, or only large ones?

Both. A single room's trim package gets the same care as a whole-house millwork job — small projects are often how clients meet us before the bigger remodel.
